The Crown That was purchased for you...

"Your Crown has been bought and paid for, all you have to do is put it on"!

James Baldwin

I personally have no knowledge of in what context James Baldwin made this quote. There are several ways it might be interpreted. One way speaks to how our ancestors already went through certain things which paved the way for us... so that we don't have to go through the exact same struggles as they did.

However besides speaking to our ancestors there is a deep full rich spiritual message here; about How Christ bought our salvation with the power of the love and grace, in the sanctifying work of the cross. A True Christian will understand that Christ's work on the cross was utterly called for, and ALL SUFFICIENT! Have you heard these people calling themselves christians who go around talking about wrath, and judgement day, and punishment; about hell and damnation? While I don't refute the reality of hell, I know it is far different than what people currently perceive it to be....just like heaven and anything else having to do with Spirit! Why are these people not declaring God's Love, Forgiveness, Mercy, and Redemption? Any redemption, salvation, forgiveness, wrath, punishment, and or judgement that needed to be dealt out was done so while Christ was on the cross. Did you hear that? People keep waiting for a judgement day ....HEY... HEAR ME....HEAR ME NOW...IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED! IT HAPPENED ON THE CROSS!

There is nothing you can do, nor anything you could have ever done to earn salvation...it was given freely....but it comes with a price! the price of submission to Divine Will. What we can do....and what we must do is whatever we can to help advance humanity, serve God, protect nature, safe guard the future to the best of our abilities; and to help usher in The Kingdom of God into the plain of our common sight! We start doing this when we pick up "The Crown" that was purchased for us and place it on our heads and wear it proudly...declaring... defiantly if need be... "I am a child of The Living God who Created The Entire Universe and I AM here to bear witness to The Truth of God's existence and Love. I am here to help others find their crowns and put them on! I am here to serve through my passion and vocation which I have been called to as a ministry; so that the Kingdom of God which is already here within us and all around us can manifest through me and others into this earth bound plain"!

Christ took our crown of thorns and wore it through the gates of death so that with him we could resurrect to eternal life wearing a crown of jewels!

Isaiah 61

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim freedom for the captives
    and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
    and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
    and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
    instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
    for the display of his splendor.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
    that have been devastated for generations.
Strangers will shepherd your flocks;
    foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
And you will be called priests of the Lord,
    you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of nations,
    and in their riches you will boast.
Instead of your shame
    you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
    you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
    and everlasting joy will be yours.
“For I, the Lord, love justice;
    I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
    and make an everlasting covenant with them.
Their descendants will be known among the nations
    and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
    that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
    my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
    and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
    and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
    and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
    and praise spring up before all nations.

So go my brothers and sisters....if you haven't put on your Crown of Glory...Your Halo of True Light from True God...go pick up your crown and place it on your head...then Go Tell it on the mountain! Go witness in all areas of life...not in word so much, as in deed and always with what virtue you can summon to your aid! Go and be Bare...and then Bear Witness! We must go out; the way Christ who was The Way came in.... In Spirit and in Truth...Authentic and honest in loving kindness. Bringing beauty, faith, hope, and joy to all those we can, and to all of life which we are able to! Christ said what he did, we will do and more...so let us begin! Now is the time...Now is the year of Jubilee and of The Lord's Favor! It is Time to make a stand in our light against the growing darkness of this world and declare The Kingdom of Eternal Light and usher it in! It Is Time!

The Celtic Festival of Alban Elued (The Light upon the Water);

Alban Elued (The Light upon the Water); Circa Sept. 19th – 23rd, typically it falls on the 21st. The feast tide lasts from the 19th through the 23rd.
A.k.a.; Alban Elfed (Which means Light of the water), mean fomhair, Harvest-Home, Feast of the vine, Mabon

The autumnal equinox like its counter part in spring is a time to bring balance to energies overly influenced by chaos or scattered-ness. It is the true beginning of the dark half of the year, and therefore it is a time to stop and take inventory of the lessons you have learned throughout the year. At the start of the day the energies will tend to be a little off kilter, or as I like to say….Wonky lol. By evening however sharp focused balance comes in and can be harnessed, focused, and utilized! This balance is hard to maintain through most of the year but as we age we try with a little more ease each day if we are pure in mind, heart, effort, and intent. We tend to have better harmony and synergy with our purpose and goals as we age. Wisdom and knowledge are gifts of getting older. The Autumn is a time to gather in the harvest and a time to reap the benefits of our sewing. Our efforts have been proved to not be in vain. It is a time for seers to take time to clear their sight and enhance it if they so wish. Evolving our abilities is one of the terrific virtues of this time of the year’s cycle. Just as nature has ebbs and flows, tides and seasons, lunar and solar cycles… so to do we. This is also the feast of thanksgiving for our Brehon. A time to Honor God and all the spiritual Aids that we have been given.

  St. Michael The ArchAngel is honored at this time for his role as one of the great spiritual protectors of the faithful. According to some traditions this is also the true time of Christ’s birth into his earthly incarnation. In Celtic tradition this was a time of fruit harvesting for those whose crops were fruit. Of course the very name of this festival has connections to sacred mirror teachings and also the Hindu concept called the jeweled net of Indra. This festival season is a time of reflection. What does life and those around us, or those we have come in contact with reflect to us? What do we reflect back to life or to those we encounter? Now is a delicious time for taking personal inventory of our general attitude at this present time in our lives. This is also a brilliant time from bringing more Awen into our beings and lives!

Central to Celtic philosophy is the force known as the Awen. Literally Awen means "flowing spirit" and it is this flowing spirit that guides us through the work of our vocation or service. Because the force of the Awen is described thus, it can be seen as many different things. The force of divine poetic inspiration, which is held within the elixir of life found in the Cauldron of the Divine (The Chalice Void Womb of God). In the Celtic Christian tradition this can be seen as the force of love, light, life, and grace; The Power which manifests, sustains, and fills the essence of all life that emanates from The Spirit of God.

This gathering is known by many names to many people, for the Truth is reflected from many mirrors. It has been celebrated as Alban Elfed and the Fall Harvest. Our ancestors called it by names long forgotten, and our children will call it by names as yet conceived. In honor and remembrance this special Mystery Feast and memorial is held for our Spiritual Patrons.

The Jewish Feast of Rosh Hashanah often falls close to this festival so you might want to look at that symbolism as well.

The Balance and stillness in motion that is achieved during this feast is often fleeting and momentary. It is still of major value whether you can maintain it or not. This feast brings a type of Mental Respite.

The Veil between the worlds begins it’s thinning during this feast until it is almost gone at Samhein, after which it starts to thicken again traditionally. However what we are seeing in this Great Shifting is that the veil between the worlds grows thinner with each passing year. This may or may not be due to the polar shifting as a natural event that happens every so many thousand years; However in my faith tradition it is believed that at the end of days the veil will disappear, be absorbed, or be torn away altogether and Heaven, Earth, and the other realms of Spirit (Or Ether) will be Joined and United in The New Planet or Kingdom Eternal called “The New Jerusalem”!

From the rising of the sun until the time that it goes down The Name of The Lord shall be praised. To God be The Glory!

This is a great time to balance your Masculine and Feminine Energies...

This post is by no means complete information on this special festival, but rather a brief overview that will allow you to craft rituals for your personal time with Spirit during this feast.

Wicked Souls Book Blog Tour

The O'Raven Chronicles is so pleased to be able to present this stop on the Wicked Souls Book Blog Tour hosted by TTC & B2B blog tours.

Book Spot-light;

Book Synopsis;

Imagine being told the life you thought you’d lived didn’t really happen. That your memories had been changed to protect you from evil. Spencer Bishop is trying to remember who she really is. After being granted her memories back by an act of bravery, Aiden her true love and the Angels in Heaven try to get her to realize her true destiny and prevail over the evil that is set to destroy her and Heaven.

Excerpt;

I awaken the next morning to the sounds of Aiden talking. My mind slowly catches words here and there. I finally get up when I hear mention of Vetis. I wrap my robe around me and walk into the hallway. "I will make sure we are there soon." Aiden says to the figure standing in the doorway. The figure nods and turns to leave. Aiden turns to walk back towards the room and is startled to see me standing here. "I was just coming to wake you up. We have been summoned by Gabriel." "What is going on?" "They moved Vetis' execution to an hour from now. He wants you to be there for it." I nod and walk back to the bedroom to get dressed. Aiden follows me and stands in the doorway as I rifle through my close trying to find something to wear. "Spencer, take a second to relax. I know this is a big deal, but I don't want you to fall apart. If you don't think you can handle the execution I will inform Gabriel." "I can handle it. I just need to find something to wear. What do you wear to an execution?" I ramble as I continue throwing clothes to the side. "Anything will do." He says walking over and kneeling next to me. "How about this?" he holds up a blue button down shirt and a pair of jeans. I take the clothes and walk to the bathroom to get dressed. Once I am dressed and ready to leave, I walk out of the bathroom to see Aiden sitting on the bed dressed and waiting for me with a smile. "Gabriel is waiting. We should go." I say quietly as I move towards the door. Aiden walks behind me quietly as we move through the hallways. The walk seems to pass quickly and before I know it we are standing before the door to the dungeons. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Aiden twines his fingers with mine and opens the door. Before us stands a crowd of people, none of which I recognize. Aiden gives my hand a squeeze and we walk into the room. The walls are made of stone and it is slightly colder in here then it was in the hallway. The room is lit by torches hanging on the walls. The crowd is silently speaking to one another as we move through them. At the very back of the room I see Gabriel speaking to a figure in black armor. As we move closer I hear the figure begin to speak, but stops as soon as he sees us. Gabriel looks over to me and smiles. Aiden and I walk up to the two men. "Spencer, Aiden, I am glad you were able to make it. Let me introduce you to Abaddon. He is going to perform the execution for us." Gabriel begins once we make it over to him. I look at Abaddon closer and realize his skin is made of molten rock, his armor holds the pattern of a skull at his waist and two skulls at his ankles, all of which look to be demonic. My eyes now fall to the axe in his hand. The handle is black steel; the head has a sliver blade at one end and what looks to be another demonic skull at the other end. From the mouth and eyes of the skull are continuous flames. My eyes are drawn back to the face of the man, which is hidden behind a black hood, as he begins to speak. His voice is low and gravelly "You have been called here to witness the execution of Vetis the demon." He booms to the crowd. "I have been appointed executioner on this day." "The time has come for the execution to be carried out," Gabriel says. "If you would all make your way into the chambers, we can begin."

About the Author;

My first book Wicked Souls is on sale now and I am now in the planning stages of book 2 called Hidden Secrets (Spring 2014).
I am going to school for my associates degree in Health Information Technology and I am taking a few writing classes on the side.
I am 24 years old. I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a loving husband and a beautiful 5 year old daughter. I spend most of my time running around and playing with her. In my free time I love to read and write.
I have always loved writing. When I was younger I would write random short stories and poems. Finally I began to get serious about writing, so I started writing longer stories. I got the idea to try to get my work published In December of 2012. I found a reliable company and began to write my first book Wicked Souls.
I plan on making Wicked Souls a series of three books. Then after that I am considering writing a sci-fi series and from there, who knows.
