Short Story Spot-light;

My Review;
Warning major spoiler alerts ahead!!!
Where to start about this short story? Well… how about with
this? It is not only one of the best short stories that I have personally ever read.
It is now on the list of my top ten favorites of all time. The story was
delightful and expertly told, but it also had all the elements that this Fairie
Boi loves; hot guys, great sex, humor, fantasy, some of my favorite geek
references, true love overcoming everything….and oh yes…a happy ending; THANK
GOD! I am personally sick to death of tragedies, especially in gay stories.
This writer is a true story teller, not only painting a lovely picture, but
crafting terrific phrases. I don’t have enough good things to say about this
short! Sit down and read it please! It won’t take you, all that long… and it is
well worth the brief time and small effort
to do so! Seriously, where can I find me a Maverick of my own? The couple in
this story, are exactly what good literary soul mates should be. Hopelessly in
love with each other beyond care, reason, or logic; even beyond death or the
enigma that is life. I especially love how their relationship is not only
sanctioned by God and heaven, but how their wedding ceremony is presided over
by a delightful re-imagining of a very famous Angel!
I also have to tell you that some of my favorite metaphysical
and spiritual concepts are woven into the very fabric of this story! These
elements all combined to bring a great story to life and pull me right into the
story with people (characters), that I now consider to be great future “old
friends”!
This Author is so terrific that I just can't wait to read more from her!!!
As you know if you
have read either of my previous reviews I am currently rating things by stars. Full novels I rate with 10 stars, as this a short I am rating this out of seven stars.
I loved this short so much that
I feel I have to give it 7 out of 7 stars.

Author Bio.;
Sandrine (Sandy) Was born in Inglewood, California. Raised by "Old School" French parents, she later moved to Tucson, AZ. It was there that writing became a hobby. Always told she had a great imagination, Sandy wrote short stories for her friends in High School. In college, she took more writing classes while working on her Criminal Justice degree, but it wasn't until a soap opera caught her eye that she got involved in male on male romances. On the advice of a friend, Sandy dipped her toes into the world of M/M Romance. Sandy takes the writing seriously and has had countless conversations with gay men as well as hours of research. She's been involved with the military in one way or another for over twenty years, and has a great deal of respect for our men in uniform. She's traveled the world, but is currently enjoying the South.
