The Other Side of Forever Blog Tour Blitz;

The O'Raven Chronicles is proud to host the first stop on The Other Side of Forever Blog Tour, For Author Shannon Eckrich; Hosted by TTC & B2B Blog Tours.

Book-end 2 Book-end Book Blog

Book Spot-light;

What if your life finally seemed to make sense? But, what if in an instanteverything is taken away? How far would you go to get your life back? Seventeenyearold Allie Anderson's telekinetic powers are anything but usefulshe can't bring her father back, can't stop her mother's downward spiral into alcohol, and can't keep her from falling in love with Ethan Bradley. Loving Ethan is easy, but it comes with a hefty price: Ethan is prohibited by his people from interacting with mortalsbecause he isn't mortal himself. When Allie and Ethan's love is discovered, there's someone who will do anything to keep them apart. If Allie can't learn to control her powers and fight to save Ethan, this dark entity will make every attempt to stop her beating heart. And if that happens, not even the energy of an immortal can bring her back.

Shimmering with strong paranormal elements, a touch of mystery, magic, and a forbidden love
story worth dying for, Other Side of Forever will leave you craving more.

Ethan rushed out of the trees and raced over. He kneeled down beside me, his expression
matching the feeling that throbbed through my leg. "Are you okay, Allie?" he asked. His breathing remained steady, even though I knew he had been running through the woods. How weird. But I was in too much agony and too confused about what happened only minutes ago to ask him about it.

"My ankle," I said.

He lifted his gaze from my face to stare at my hands. He pushed my hands away and replaced
them with his. The warmth zipping through my ankle began to numb the pain.

"Where did you come from?" I asked, watching his hands in disbelief.

"I live on the other side of the woods," he answered, shooting me a sideways glance before
focusing back on my injury.

"How convenient for me that Ethan Bradley lives on the other side of the woods." The memory of
our argument the night before flashed back into my mind.

"Apparently it's very convenient." He pressed his lips together. "If not, you would be stuck out
here in the middle of nowhere without a way to get home."

The heat from his hands intensified, and I was no longer able to speak. A tingling sensation
snaked its way into my ankle and slithered up my body. His energy completely relaxed me. And
then, all traces of pain were gone. It was if I had never been injured at all.

"How…how did you do that?"

He looked over at me, his dark eyes drowning in hesitation. I thought he was going to tell me the
truth this time, but I was wrong.

Book Spot-light;

Book Synopsis:

A vicious serial killer is on the loose in Wisconsin and it's up to the Admiral's Elite to stop him. Admiral Black's second in command, Captain Michael Rossi, has been tasked with finding out who or what the killer is and put an end to his reign of bloodshed while avoiding some pitfalls of his own. Like hiding the fact that he's falling in love with Becca from the admiral who would be sure to use it against them. Ghosts from Gabrielle's past threaten her place with her unit and Ryan's bed.

Local police are puzzled and the town is terrified. The Admiral's Elite must find a killer, stop him without anyone finding out their true identities, and not be torn apart in the process.

Excerpt #1:

“Tell me, Captain, did you get what you needed?”
“I thought we were past that whole ‘captain’ thing.” He captured a drop of sweat on the back of her shoulder and brought it to his mouth. A slow lick and it was gone.
“Fine then, Michael.” She shuddered, feeling a stir in her stomach and lower despite her exhaustion from their activities. Her voice was lower, husky. “Answer my question.  Did you get what you came for?”
He chuckled. The vibration where their bodies touched sent another shiver down her spine. “I wouldn’t say I didn’t enjoy all that.” His hand, back to tracing her curves, glided over the tiny silver scars that crisscrossed her body. Most humans would never see them they were so light. Michael’s wandering hand dipped below the sheet he’d pulled over her cooling body. “But that’s not actually why I came to see you.”

Testing Fate Spot-light;

~The O'Raven Chronicles is pleased to present this Spot-light for Testing Fate by Belinda Boring~

Book Spot-light;

Book Synopsis;

Nothing burns as bright as the flames of the refiner’s fire.
Moments after hearing the Council sentence her enemy to life imprisonment for attempted murder and illegal use of magic, Darcy is whisked away by the Fates—accused of tampering with destiny. The cherished dream she shared with Mason has been called into question, placing doubt about whether they are actually true mates. To resolve it, a price must be paid—the Heart or Death—a grueling series of tests designed to reveal a person’s worth.
The stakes are high and Darcy finds herself facing the unknown in conditions that leave her more vulnerable than she’s ever been. Separated from Mason and her Pack, with Devlin as her only companion, she is pushed to her very limits. She must succeed—or lose everything.
Will she crumble under the pressure or emerge stronger for testing fate?

Teaser Excerpt from Testing Fate....

“But, do you truly understand what you’re saying? Are you willing to put Darcy and your Pack through more attempts like Amber’s? Are you willing to fight a challenge with every suitor that comes along?”
“Yes. If that’s what is needed, then I will beat them all!” Mason’s body stiffened with determination and I could only imagine what his wolf was experiencing below the surface. Male werewolves were dominant and extremely territorial. I had no doubt Mason would fight to the death, as many times as he needed to, in order to keep me by his side.
“I am sure you would, young Alpha. But are you willing to have Darcy do that as well? Will you be able to watch her fight to the death? Is your pride worth the risk? Are you willing to test fate?”

Book Spot-light;

Britt Anderson went along with everything the doctors said for nearly four years, but she was still dying at eighteen. The cancer had won leaving her without a future, without any options, and without control. No control, except for how she would leave this world. As Britt tries to end her life by going into the frigid waters she realizes her mistake. She struggles to get back to shore, to cry out for help, but her atrophied muscles are useless and the frigid water steals the breath from her chemo-scarred lungs. Despite her father’s attempts to reach her, she flies over the waterfall.

When Allister Parks finds Britt’s fragile body on the riverbank something calls out to him. Ignoring the warnings of his sister, Allister brings Britt back from the edge of death. The only problem is that an Eternal like Allister isn’t allowed to touch those who have already passed from this world. It is forbidden; an infraction punishable by death.

As Britt relishes her new cancer-free life and senior year of high school, her very existence threatens Allister’s place in this world. Allister struggles to keep Britt a secret from the Eternal Council and out of the hands of the only Eternal who already knows the truth: the one who stole her guardian angel.

“You were dead,” Allister agreed. “I touched you and brought you back, only it was as something different than you were before.”
“Uh, I kind of noticed,” I said, waving my hands around my body like a model showing him the latest fashions. “And that little thing about being able to heal people is new. So what did you bring me back as?” The words came out and I wanted to catch them and shove them back into my mouth. Fear swelled within me as I realized I wasn’t sure I wanted the truth…if it was bad.
