Gays in the Military!

So it appears as if we are going to finally have gay people serving openly in the military! justice is finally coming it seems. why this was ever an issue I can't fathom. There have always been gays in every type of military through out history and many cultures. Some of the most famous warriors enjoyed the company of their own kind; Alexander The Great for example. While I do not agree with many of the things that go on with our military, and though I disapprove of the way wars are conducted today, I have always held a special respect and love for our fighting Men and Women. I support our soldiers! "Support our soldiers"; there is a catch phrase I hear a lot. I have to wonder however if the people shouting it out respect and support ALL of Our Soldiers or just the ones whose heterosexual lifestyle they approve of?
